Hi `Duane, I understand your concerns, but I've learned it depends on the quality of the cover & how you treat it.
Several in Florida use covers on their cars, and they don't get scratches.....They can be a pain to put on & take `off, but it's better then nothing : )

  1. How do I know the car cover won't scratch my vehicle?
  2. Click to read (if U want ~> Your decision : )

How much quality is a 3 layered $90 car cover, 'Space? I think a few windstorms pretty much did me in.

We reached the 40's yesterday... and will again today. We're looking at temperatures near 60 by Saturday. The wind blew all of the snow out of the trees by late the second day. The snow is melting at an incredible pace. In sunny psots, there are about 2-3" on the ground now. I finished clearing off our little parking pad yesterday. Here is the snow as it stands this morning:

That's the wrong way to give your 3rd gen a two tone finish.
That picture is kind of a depressing reminder of the 6 months of winter we seem to get around here. I feel for ya man. My Monte is got the same two tone exterior going too. A lot of us here on MCF have that going right now.
