Good morning guys. 19 degrees this morning.
Crazy video of a semi wrecking in the icy conditions here in Michigan last Wednesday. This happened on I-69 in the Lansing area. And wow is he down in the median. The emergency vehicles are tending to another semi, rolled over in the median, which you can see at the end of the video.

He must have been watching the other activity and lost it. Brakes were a bad option in this case.

Good morning everyone, slow week at work for me so I've been going stir crazy sitting around house. Would be much nicer if I had a pile of parts to put on my car. Weather here in Mn has been pretty calm compared to the southern states. Might have to get the car decorated for some pictures for the December contest.

Good morning guys. 15 degrees this morning. Supposed to be getting some rain/snow this afternoon; potential for 0-1" accumulation North of I-94.
I had a very close call with a couple deer within five minutes of leaving home this morning. Saw the first, took my foot off the accelerator... second was following behind, hit the brakes so hard the abs started chugging. Probably missed the second one by inches.
Got my photo contest submittal

Good morning guys. 36 degrees this morning. Highs next three days will be 42 degrees today, 42 Sat, 43 Sun. I'll probably take advantage of that to wash the Malibu (it's been a while).
Yesterday ground broke on another significant project in Downtown Detroit - the 'Monroe Blocks' (video and pic 1). It's a multi-building project that will be anchored by a 35-story office tower (that's puts it at ~450 ft. tall which would be ~10th tallest in Detroit). The project will also create a LOT of outdoor public space as well, as seen in the video below. Work on this project is expected to be complete in 2022. That is in addition to the other huge project in Downtown Detroit that's been ongoing for almost a year now - the 'Hudson Development' (pic 2). That will feature a 912 ft. multi-use tower which will become both Detroit's and Michigan's tallest (and ~80th tallest in the United States). This project should also be completed around 2022.

Well Mrs. Bickerson decided to clean the leftovers from thanks giving and she thought it would be smart to put them down the Garbage Disposal. So now days later the drain has finally gotten plugged up.
I have warned her about this for years. However she says if you can't use the Garbage disposal then why have it. Kind of dumb if you plug the pipes up along the way.
Maybe the plumber will show up on Monday and get it roto rotered out.
Anyway supposed to be nice today 48 right now, we will see how nice it gets, yesterday was fairly warm and got the cars washed and filled with gas

Good morning guys. Only 9 days til Christmas!
31 degrees this morning, going up to 42. Also took advantage of the warmer weather to wash my Malibu and the wife's F-150 yesterday. Both were well overdue for one, I should probably get new sponges after that.
we're on well and septic so I purposely don't throw food down the disposal.

Supposed to be another nice day today. I have to see the Grandkids at a Christmas program this afternoon. should be fun. The Plumber came and got the drains open again so that is a good thing fixed. we can run the dishwasher again and the laundry can be finished.
