We have more then our fair share here in Ohio.

 

I never figured out why people do dumb stuff like that in the winter. Save it for on the lake.

 

That reminds me. Here in Iowa some idiots got arrested for driving onto the iced-over river and their truck sunk through the ice! I never did find out if the vehicle was recovered.... I'd hope not, they wouldn't deserve it!

 

I heard on the radio yesterday about some accident on the OH turnpike. A few people were killed and the OH state patrol plans on charging some of the drivers involed with vehicular homicide.
(which is more or less a slap on the wrist)

But it makes a point.

The spokesman for the OSP said drivers should know better to slow down and turn on their headlights in foggy conditions.

 

Youre correct RJ, but what if you and your buddy
are crusing down the road and another car comes in your
lane and you take the ditch........your buddt gets killed.......
not really your fault, now you have to live with the fact that
your buddy is dead and you were driving .......now they want to put you
in jail for murder?????? I don't know man sounds a little harsh to me

now if you were drunk or stoned or something........different story

Not really car related but I heard a woman started a fire that killed close to 9 people in an apartment building fire.

She started this fire (get this) by burning a $1 bill. Her feet were cold.

I heard they plan on charging her with murder.
