Alright so the dents on my hood need to go but in order to get them out i need to get the sound deading/heat protection mat off from under the hood and if i take it off i dont think it will go back on. if it stays off will the paint start to get damage from the extra heat? and what about taking the metal heat shield off of the manifolds would that cause damage or just more sound for me. will get the dent off the side of the car winter break then bondo any creases in the spring and do paint on the side. I've also decided on a drain hole in the muffler to get the water out and louden it back up. if you guys know of any easy sound deading to take off thats worth it let me know. I already ditched my rusted unsafe spare. any good tips on cutting weight let me know i might ditch the a/c if i cant get it hold a charge cheaply in the spring.
