Default couple quick questions

So i am looking to get a dash daq monitor for my car (2004 LS). The only questions I have.

1. Can I see the trans temp with the obd II port?
2. Can I view oil presssure

In case you don't understand. I just want to know if on a scanner you can view these parameters.

Sorry. I was unclear. I know the dash daq can read these on some cars. But do our monte even have this information available or is there only a dummy light when the pressure gets low? If I were to hook up a tech 2 scanner to my car, could I see oil pressure and trans temp on it?

I recently bought a ScanGaugeII (the cheap version of what you're buying) and I'm using it on a 99 Monte. It will read Trans Temp, but not oil pressure or oil temp. I believe that you are sometimes limited not only by the limitations of the car (PCM) but also by the maker of the monitor (ScanGauge or DashDAQ). Someone needs to figure out the computer langauge to pull the info out of the PCM. My ScanGuage appears to be much more limited in what it can read.
