I've noticed that on the C4 and C5 Vettes the pop up lights do a backflip when they open up. Is there any reason Chevy designed them like this? Most other cars I've seen with pop up headlights just open with one 90 degree movement. Was Chevy just trying to show off by making theirs do a backflip or was there another reason? I think on the right car especially Vettes that pop up headlights are pretty cool. I know they are impractical now a days but they still look neat.
