hi i saw a nice 4th gen monte carlo with corvette brakes and started to do some research to actually do this swap my self, found many places that i can buy brand new corvette brake calipers, which are 2 piston aluminum and use a 13" rotor which would be a nice inexpensive upgrade i think. now if i got the the calipers,rotors,spindles and hardware would the whole brake assembly just bolt on to my control arms or would i have to do anything special. such as buy tubular control arms or custom fab anything. i really want to do this becuase my current brake setup sucks.(very spongy pedal goes to the floor and the brakes are weak.) im sure if i were to bleed my brakes it would fix this, but the car still won't stop very quick.
