Default Computer Nerds needed

hey all,
Well the short story is this.
Im goign back on the road here shortly. I know i have seen it a million times about the car puters and car pc etc....

What i want to knwo is if any oen here has experince with them?
Have you built one? If so what do i need to do so?

Also have any of you done the GPS for the l;ap top computers?
I hav actually bid on one on Ebay tonight i figure if it works great if nto im nto out as much as the new ones but figured i would try it out. I have had the windsheild mount versions before but the thing is i dont wan tsomethign that any fool walking by can see and they steal it out of the truck.

Also have any of you had any experince with the SAt. Radios ant. that stick to the windsheilds. I knwo they have a mirror mount but once again it is basically offering it up to anyone walking past the truck.

Any info let em know THANSK

Well my advice to you, is do the same thing we did at bestbuy, once you get the laptop mounted to the mounting device, buy a laptoplock, i know this doesn't offer much more security BUT it is a deturent... OR your other option is to just get a mount with a quick release slab and just remove the laptop everytime u get out of the truck. As for the sat. radio ants...i have heard of people mounting them on the inside of the trunk lid... not sure how well that works... but... its an option...
