A sad note for our Pearl Harbor survivors. There aren't many left and those that are, are over 80 now. The offical Surviors of Pearl Harbor assocation will be disbanded.

The torch to remember these fine men and women has been passed down to us. Lets always keep them in our hearts and that day.

Wow... times are a changing. Last survivor of the Titanic passed on a few years ago as well.

 

I'm glad to see they are passing it on instead of letting it fade out. Very honorable.

 

One of the things that we should have learned from that generation is to put others before themselves and civic responsibility. It's not too late.
