i have music in every format... a couple hundred LP's, a dozen 8 tracks seemed to escape the dumpster ( dad musta overlooked em, lol) but thats ok because a friend gave me a factory 8 track player for my buick, lol. then a TON of cassets and a TON of cd's 
as for movies, its cassetts & DVD's. HD-DVD's and blu-ray are kinda pointless when you need to buy a big fancy TV before you can even use em.... and although this may offend anyone who is into electornics, i dont notice ANY differance between a high-def tv & a regular one, except a brighter picture. to me, its just yet another marketing scheme.
