BTW... I accidentally clicked edit instead of quote on your post Dave. Nothing was changed. Sorry.

Look at all these snowed in members posting on the forum today!

That's a pretty serious snowfall to make a place like Michigan give up. What happens if someone is having a heart attack? What would you do?

Well, so far it rained last night and along the way switched to snow..... Looking outside, maybe an inch.... But it looks like we still have some snow coming down.....

Some people believe we're getting a "monster storm"..... I believe it's just another typical day of what we call "winter".... We've been luck that the last few years, winter has been very easy on us.

I think I can call that Tadd is working from home today. I'm doing the same as well. Higher totals from the storm are between 15-20". I was told to not even try to leave the house because I'd never make it to the main road.

Current snow cover

Well this morning my Blue Monte is buried up to the door handles (mainly because of a drift I think)

Hard to tell how much we have I have not been out yet. I estimate the lowest spot we have 16 inches the highest spot maybe 20 something. I will post pictures later on today

It's really windy this morning

Yep at home our CFO sent out an e-mail for employees to use discretion about driving to work. My direct boss is working from home today too.

Man we really got sucker punched with this storm. Right now it bitter cold -8 with wind chill and the wind is crazy outside.

Question It's happened b-4 & it will happen again > That's Mother Nature (??)

Hi Tad,
It's great that you have power & hopefully food etc so that U can stay home & warm until things clear up in your area.

Take good care & don't go out 'if U don't have to.

Wish you and member's in the snow/cold area's a safe/warm (inside) day.
Be CAREFUL 'OK

Washtenaw County Sheriff is urging people to avoid the country roads out here because of 3-4 foot drifts across them.

The city of Taylor declaired a state of emergency when they first said we were suppose to get the worse starting on Saturday...

Lizzy and I were out yesterday morning doing some grocery shoping..
It was no biggie then... and it really still isn't..at least not here in taylor..we have received maybe 8 to 10 inches... on the ground at least...

I was hopeing to see us really get slammed...But that didn't happen..
The city plowed Champaign st..and theres maybe a 3foot or more on the curbs.. Not to mention whats been shoved back in peoples driveway approach's... For me its no biggie... I have 2 great neighbors that have been takeing care of my snow this year....

1 has a super snowblower like yours Tad and the other has one that's pretty powerful for as small as it is.

Have fun and stay safe!
