Hi Member's,
We are all living in a Global World

The U.S.A. is not isolationist & we conduct business worldwide.
I prefer to purchase American products to support our country, but
we are everywhere. I just hope/pray for fair trade practices
for `all.

I wish/pray that we can all respect all humans on planet earth
and use our resources to pursue peace with `all.

I'd love to see our country lead by example & first get our
country in order before we go into other countries to resolve their problems.
I hope & pray a lot.
Peace/Out

That was part of the point I was trying to make. It doesn't matter who owns or builds the cars, they hire the greatest designers from Germany and USA.

Cars are very much a global commodity.

Hi Grandpa `Dave,
Great to see you online...
I'm impressed with the Korean Auto Companies & how fast they have grown & the products that they are putting out on the roads.

I hope they make our American companies more competitive and be able to warrant their products like the Korean's do ? with a 10 year 100K Warranty ? Why can they do it & we can't ? We get 5 yrs & 60K miles : ( on most American Cars..) Aren't our American vehicles good enough to last that long without a major problem ?

I sure see many Korean rides on the roads when I get out & they are putting a dent in US Sales 4-Sure...

I think competition makes for better products for `all 4-Sure
Thanks `all...., that's fall'in outa my tired mind (it's empty again) Peace/Happiness 2 `all that read the above

Why not Import a few more and do less exporting. I think it should only be allowed on an even basis. But we all know that won't happen. people need to wake up and buy American. We just put ourselves out of work. I know American cars aren't really all American but at least we consider it that way. I suppose it is different if they put their factory here.

Thanks Grandpa `Dave,
Yes, they are doing great with many of their vehicles.
I think/know that American Auto Companies can do better to compete in any Market...
I'm just thankful that we didn't lose the Big 3 Auto Companies.

I'm with Jerry on being very pro-domestic (my definition of domestic would include Canada and U.S. for obvious reasons). Autos are just such an important part of our economy.

But I could be talked into buying a Hyundai, Kia (like the above one 'Space posted) or even Toyota. My wife made me buy a Volvo and I do feel ashamed of that. So much shame

But we already give way to much of our money to the Chinese. I don't know how we get any of it back cuz there is so much moving that way. I couldn't buy a Chinese car.

Buying imports puts people out of work
