Question cheap temporary batter?

well low and behold my somewhat failing battery finally failed this morning after putting gas in at the station, its been going for awhile and finally had enough 10.9v to 11v on the meter last time I had it checked was sitting at 550 out of 750 amps, ill be doing a dual kinetic battery setup this spring with the audio upgrades underway so dont want to get a expensive battery to replace this one as it will be getting swapped out in a few months anyway, and brands on the cheap side anyone recommends?

honestly, wallmart battery's are fine. i bought one for my car back when i first started driving it, so it's been in the monte for almost 4 years now. cranks over great, ALWAYS starts. the monte is no longer my DD, sometimes it'll sit for months at a time, jump in & turn the key, fires right up.

today we got about a foot of snow, the car's been sitting for about 2 weeks in 10-25 degree weather the entire time. still fired right up like i just shut it off when i went to move it.

some small battery stores sell "reconditioned" batteries for really cheap and usually have a 30 day warrenty on them

Im a firm believer in "NEW" batterys when it comes to my vehicles....Especially considering all the electronic components now a days, computers, etc etc...

Just 1 less thing to ruin your day!..Low voltage is the main cause of excessive
electronic part failures!

Since your considering upgradeing your audio components...I think its a good idea to purchase new 1... Advance auto parts here in Michigan has some great deals on Batts...and they instahl it for you free on the spot!

Then at least you know yur good for the next 4 or 5 yrs..which is generally the life of the battery!

Cheaper isnt always better...especially for electronics....
which means over the long haul...you get what you pay for!

One junkyard here has new batteries that they get from a wholesaler that are damaged. Like a scratch in the case or some other minor problem. They are 100% Functional they just don't look perfect but they are like half price.
