Be careful when dealing with Craigslist!

Crazy story, but it's true. You always meet in public places. I do a lot of trading on craigslist and other forums for the Monte, for my rims I drove to NJ and met at a mall parking lot, great exchange and worth it.
The thing about the story that really gets me... The victim has posted his lost dog on several Web sites — including craigslist — and filed a report with Dallas police.
If you got robbed using craigslist... I probably wouldn't want to use it ever again.

Or at least stupid enough to list the car and dog for sale on Craigslist. That would land them a spot on that "America's Dumbest Criminals" show.
Not trying to make light of the situation. I sincerely hope the guy gets his dog and car back UN-HARMED!

devastated, I went out tonight to get something to eat, came home, and I hear the lady across the street yelling, her dog got out of the house and got hit by a car, I turned around and saw the dog struggling to walk, maybe only a broken leg (I hope) but I was sick to my stomach really upset me.....

I'm sure there are people who would (and do) say "it's just a dog". But I see it as a living, breathing creature with feelings, a personality, etc. It's a friend and a member of the family. I would be on the hunt for it too.
