a friend of mine has broken his car 3 times at the track...and used his AAA to tow him home...they dont do race issues..so we pushed his car out of the track...and into the street in front of it, and elt it coast for a few hundred yards...

 

when mine broke i did that but i was already way from the track to out the rear axel on the way home was being stupid and was playing around with a camaro wel to make it short i luanched and that was about all i did LOL
It rolled another 30 foot or s and stoped dead the C clip came out and went threw the spider gears.

just a FYI
not a god thing to attempt makes a mes sout of things in there LOL

 

funny you should say that. Me and my friends were at Sears Point prepping our H22 powered Accords for some passes in the 1/4. A brand new S2000 pulls up besides me and asks if he could use my jack. I let him use it to so what he needed to do, he goes through safety inspection, and as we line up to run, he's in front of me. He pulls up through the water and rips a viscious burnout. He stages, tree turns green, he drops the clutch..THUNK!!! That's all she wrote. But my 94 Accord w/135k miles on it made passes all day

 

mine happend once to me where i could nt get it home. i bracket raced and raced for sponsers for 6 years i think one time in 6 was pretty good and that was due to a fulty clip. bit i know folks that have had lots of problems with thier cars. and seemd to break all the time
I never trailed my car i would drive it Mon-Fri and race n sat and sun. so i though i was doing pretty good.
