Just the dash? Or the door panels too? Would the "freshened" 06/07 dash line up properly with the 00-05 door panels? Are the colors the same, or are they slightly different too?

Nice idea, but I like the guages in the 00-05 better. Just my preference though. I like having more guages. I didn't like the idea of relying on idiot lights in my previous cars.

I don't see why the side panels couldn't be use too?

I know some people have commented they were surprised at the side bolsters on the '06 Monte seats. Compared to the '00-05 bucket seats.

Since I never rode in a '00-05 Monte till spring, 2008 I didn't realize the difference in the seats either. Personally I happen to like the design of the '00-05 bucket seats. They have kind of a retro look of the seats used in the 1960s.

But I think if we were doing a swap in to a '00-05 Monte using '06/07 interior parts I'd swap a few things in and see how well they worked with the original pieces before I swapped in the complete interior.
