It came in the mail today
It's official. It came in the mail today. I knew it was coming but was trying to not think about it. I got my invitation to join the old farts club today. It came in a white envelope. In side the envelope was my membership card and invitation to join AARP. I was hoping the name on the envelope was my mothers, but I double checked and it was mine. It is a sad day for sure. I turn 50 a month from yesterday. I was trying to forget that too.
But there it was is big bold black letters my name and AARP.
So I have to ask the other members. Is this a worthwhile organization to belong too? The membership application didn't contain a whole lot of info about what your membership gets you for the dues you pay.

Hell I've had one for almost 20 yrs now! 10% is all good as much as we travel.
