Question > Bluetooth scantool

Has any one ever download obd doctor or the torque app and used one of the bluetooth scantools that was on ebay? Well mines came today and I was confused because both apps said I have a pending code p0440 I believe it was but yet the heck engine light was never on. And it said my MAP was around 0.34 I don't know if that is right or anything but I'm about to google it. I jus wanted to know other peoples opinions on this and experience if they ever got one

Note the word "pending". You car can throw codes but NOT pop on the check engine light. GM sets conditions that some internal diagnostics have to fail more then once to pop on the light. So if that is like other scan tools I've seen, it's a code that might potentially pop the light later.

Are these apps being used on a Windows laptop or a phone? If it's on a laptop what eBay ODBII bluetooth adapter did you get? I've been tempted to get one to use with my tuning laptop for other apps (and no wires).

The app I'm using (obd car doctor) is on my andriod phone the torque app wouldn't display fuel level and pressure and I kinda wanted that. Also the bluetooth adapter is a Vgate scan obd scantool. Its the blue one I got it for 15 $
