For giggles and grins, from wikipedia (yeah I know)Popular Questions
What Makes a Muscle Car? Muscle car is a term used to refer to a variety of high performance automobiles.[1] The Merriam-Webster definition is more limiting, "any of a group of American-made 2-door sports coupes with powerful engines designed for high-performance driving."[2] The term generally refers to 2-door rear wheel drive mid-size cars, and sometimes full-size cars equipped with large, powerful, V8s, and sold at an affordable price for street use and both formal and informal drag racing
Based on the wiki definition, I still wouldn't consider a vette a muscle car.., to me it is not mid-full sized at all...It's in a sports car class, with little to no back seat and no real trunk to speak of...it is in the viper/GT40 sports car class....or would you say those are muscle cars as well?

And Muscle cars to me have no date, I still consider today's Challengers/mustangs/gtos as muscle cars, some may say there defined as "Modern Muscle" which s fine.

Again just my opinion, but when I see Big RWD V8 (And yes the gn is an exception cause it is a 6) I do not see Chevelle,GTO,Mustang,Camaro, being the same proportions as a Corvette.

I would Love to own a 1965 chevelle Z16

Z16 was the RPO (Regular Production Option) code given to the 396 engine option in the 1965 Chevelle and was used internally by Chevrolet. The Z16 is the 1965 Malibu SS 396 and was almost never referred to by the Z16 RPO number except in a few non-public Chevrolet documents.
