Default Back surgery

I had my back surgery today..It was a complete success! As soon as I woke up, I could tell all the pain in my leg was gone. They performed a Laminectomy, which was shaving my bone and drilling a hole in it so as to free up my pinched nerve. I had a herniated disc and pinched nerve. I will be off work a minimum of 4 weeks and then no lifting over 20#'s for the next 4. My first ever hospital visit, that's good for me being 49. Hopefully my last. I have to rest up for a day or so, I have some real pretty white stockings on my legs. Have to wear them for a day for circulation. I didn't mention too much about this on here, but some knew I was having trouble. Thanks for everything Pepe's. Bad thing is I can't mow the yard for a while Yea right.

Hi `Jerry,
Sorry to read that you had back problems, but was happy to read that your Laminectomy was successful and that your pain is gone .

Get `Hunter to mow the lawn & do what has to be done until you are all healed `up & doing better...
Take good care & enjoy your pain>`free life...

A bad back is no joke. Hope the fix works well for you. My girlfriend has had nerves blocked, steroid injections into her spine etc. Pretty much reduces one to a cranky uncomfortable individual. Extra cool you went under the knife and have noticed a significant improvement.... Congrats Hope your recovery is amazingly fast..
