The Avengers
If she sends me any other pictures I'll be sure to post them. Me either. I'm glad I don't work downtown anymore, with all the closing for work on the inner and outer belts. Although I'm glad they finally got the Fulton Rd. bridge rebuilt, I take that when the family and I go to the monthly Bohemian dinners on Detroit.
So, today was my last day working in DownTown Cleveland (I accepted a new job start on 22nd for a new company, my last day with my current company I will be at a non-DownTown building).
Today, I cut through an alley on the way back from lunch and saw trailers and food tents and a guy grilling up food that smelled awesome. All near the filming spot!
And I work very close to Tower City. All this week they've had part of Public Square blocked off. Appears to be part of the movie (someone told me it's to make it look Russian). I want to take the wife to see it, pretty neat! I hope to see it in the upcoming movie and be amazed!

Congratulations! You're going to be working near Tower City at your new job? I didn't know about them blocking off Public Square, that would be cool since my old job overlooked that, but where I work now I'm in Cuyahoga Falls, so I don't see any of that stuff anymore...although no more traffic messes when the President comes to visit either.
So I guess that means at your new job you probably wouldn't be at Tower City. Well anyways, that was my main reason of moving to another company... I wanted to work somewhere else anyways and get away from my a-- boss, so the job I took pays a bit less, but with the gas I save alone, I make more.

No worries MogWog. I will miss things about DownTown Cleveland. I have a variety of reasons for chosing to leave after 11+ years. It certainly was nto easy.

Saturday (8/20) I dragged my wife up to DownTown to see what they did infront of Tower City on Public Square. They are making it look like a German Beer Garden (or so I'm told). They add two bar huts they made just for the event. Kinda neat, but due to security blocking parts of it off we could not get as close as I'd like. They also added fountains to the waterfall (I saw the sprayers when they tested them last Thursday).
Pretty cool.
Pretty cool.
