As some of you may know they are filming scenes from Marvel's film "The Avengers" in Cleveland. Well my cousin works in one of the office buildings on East 9th where they're currently filming. They set it up to look like NYC. Here's a couple of pictures...

They have filmed a few movies in Center City Philadelphia, but I never got to see explosions

Wow. That's cool to be able to see it up close like that. What did they have to do to make it look like New York?

 

I think lots of traffic, destruction, construction & explosions LOL

 

Basically, yes. They didn't really do anything to the buildings because I'm sure they're not going to be highlighted in detail anyways...they look tall and New York-ish.
