What did you plant? I have 6 tomatoes of 3 varietys, Beefmaster, Earlygirl, and BetterBoys I think, Then 4 green peppers. Thats plenty for a family of three. Got mine out Sunday. It is a garden I guess. Nothing better than a tomato you grew yourself. SoOOO much better than a store bought one.

My parents have their flower garden and tomato/strawberry garden up and running now. We plant Roma so I can make a few sauces out of them in the summertime.

I've been thinking about having a balcony garden in my apartment.

I got part of mine out at the beginning of the month. I have carrot, lettuce, bok choy, green beans, peppers, garlic and an onion (started growing in the house, so I planted it.) Still have a little bit of space in my first 4x12. I also just did another 4x10, but it rained too much to get anything planted yet. Hopefully tonight. that one will be cherry tomatos, delicata squash, butternut squash, cucumber, and maybe a couple other squash. there is also a small spot for my herbs (mint, cilantro, basil) And I just got strawberry and Blackberry plants that I need to plant tonight. Really going all out with the planting this year.

Waiting here in Kansas to put Tomato plants out. Some nights it still gets into mid '30s. Last night it was 47 degrees. I think around Memorial Day - I will put our some Beefmasters. My onions, lettuce are doing well - if rabbits will leave alone!

-Mark.
