Smile Started my summer garden

Well, I finally got my summer garden started. I have my dad's old vintage 1983 Troy Bilt tiller. It still runs very good and is well built. I would like to have it restored some day. Maybe ?

I plan on growing some tomatos, bell peppers, okra, squash and cucumbers.

Good luck with your garden. I've been waiting to start mine (flowers only) because the weather keeps changing. Here in St. Louis it has been known to snow as late as April 10th. Today I was all set to buy annuals for the front yard but its been raining for two days. Are you growing any flowers or just vegetables? I'd love to grow tomatoes but just don't have enough sun (we're under very old trees). Post pics when your crop comes in!!

Nice Tiller. I have a 90's troy bilt snow blower that worked amazing until a few years ago. I am gonna get it fixed up one of these years.lol It has an old Tecumseh motor and i cant find parts for it. Other than that the mechanics are great. Nice and heavy duty. Good luck with the garden.

Yes I am a true farm girl and proud of it...I just put on my overalls and straw hat. The Neighborhood Decency Patrol told me to put on a shirt too. Hang on, I'll get the camera crew for a quick MCForum photo shoot.
