Default Anyone currently reading a good book?

Just trying to see if other members are in to book reading lately or more into the high tech side of life such as electronic gadgets or even E-books. As with most of us I believe book reading is a phase we are either in or out of.

Over the last 2 months I read a 2 book set on the Korean War "An Oral History"
Wow, poor bastards, all those men had to endure was truly heartbreaking, wet, cold and limited winter gear, carving a shallow 2 ft. deep foxhole out of the frozen earth and pulling a tarp over themselves to shiver all night long in minus zero temperatures. I think the Korean war was harder than WWII for american troops,as there was no big gearing up for it, no mass bomber attacks. Russia and China resupplied their side with no fear of U.S. attacks on their supply trains while in China. What a way to fight a war.

Now starting "The Forgotton Soldier", true accounting of a WWII German combat soldier.

Anyone else into a good book now or just finished one???

LOL Dave, Inked magazine, would this have something to do with tattoo's? Are they showing new techniques and such?

Hats off to your father for having the unfortunate opportunity to have participated in a really tough war. Medical would be seeing the ugly side of war for sure, horrendous injuries... Did he know Hawkeye Pierce or B.J. Honeycutt??

Nice read zippy I'm very into war themed books as well, over the past few months I've dived heavy into existentialism philosophy, have already finished both books but to wrap my head around these mind bogglers I am currently rereading them haha.

Friedrich Nietzsche's Beyond Good And Evil and a personal all time favorite the inferno part 1 of the Devine comedy many people know it better as "dante's inferno"

Hi `Greg & Member's,
Great thread topic & some interesting reads...
I use to read a lot, but now it seems I have so much to read concerning my work.

National & international shipping/commerce + all the laws. +

I enjoy reading & received the below book for Christmas.
I'm looking forward to reading it when I can find the time.
* (I need to re-read my Time Management Book) *

Providing
a foundation for space planners and anyone interested in human settlement in the
solar system, this book theorizes about the near future, when the heretofore
significant steps of humankind—traveling to the moon and building space
stations—will be dwarved by new progress. Scholars and scientists raise and
answer such questions as
Why
does space matter to us? What will ordinary life be like in space?
and What
will our homes be like on Mars or the Moon?
This
collection of findings by professionals documents important research, laying the
bricks for space-faring civilizations and even consults future
space-dwellers—kids—for their visions. Working from the assumption that
humankind has a biological need to explore and improve the quality of life, the
wide variety of contributors successfully argue that space as a future human
habitat is not simply possible, but manifest.
Thanks `Greg & Member's for all your contributions to keep our forum active....
ps...I also enjoy reading the posts on the MCF (ok, most of them) lol
