Jeff here. I am 36 and I am the owner of a 2004 Intimidator #556. I bought the car in Feb 04 after finding that they came out with it by seeing one at Daytona USA where I went to see JR's car after watching him win Daytona. I had always kicked myself that I never bought the 2002. So after flying home that week, found that my local dealer had one while surfing the internet about the car on sat night. Went to look at the car on sunday and I drove her home on monday. She is not a daily driver but my "Relax time". Every time I drive it, its like my 1st time behind the wheel. Not to mention, my special way to remember a Hero of mine.

My father also has been a Monte owner. He recently upgraded from his 03 LT to a 05 SS. I drove to fla for the 50th running of Daytona so we went to see him in S.Fla and attended a Friday night Cruise in.

My 1st trip to fla, I spent 3 days in NC. I got to see the Birthplace of my hero and sit in a very nice park and see where some of my $$$ went on a very nice piece of Vermont Granite!

Is the red one in the last picyour father's 05 SS? Very nice. I like the picture tribute sitting on your Intimidator's engine. What is the pic sitting on top of the red Monte's engine?

Have you made any mods to your Intimidator? Or are you keeping it original (collector's item)?
I'm keeping my 04 Dale Jr edition as original as possible. Any mods I do are going to be easily reversible. How about you?

Yes the red one is dads, he bought it with 13K miles. The red pic is a collage of all the chevys that our family has had over the years.

As for my monte, I installed the K&N airfilter for the stock intake. But before my move to TN, I was working with a speed shop in VT about reprograming, thermostat & smaller pully. Yes I want it as a collector car but I dont intend on selling it and I think "Dale" would want it to go fast so when I return next month. Next spring when I pull it out she will get the change. My biggest thing is to get rid of that 120 cut out (hope there are no cops on here But at 90, dam she is SMOOOOTH as I am sure you know.
