Take a 12 volt battery and hook up the positive and negative posts with #12 awg wire. Get a really long screw driver and drive it into the ground and clamp the negative wire to the driver. Strip about 12" off the positive wire only leaving bare copper exposed. Place the stripped positve wire about 12" from the tire that the dog is profusley urinating on. Hide the battery behind the tire.Pour about 1 gallon of water on the surface around the positive cable. (It won't be enough to short anything out).

Grab a can of your favorite brew and sit back, relaxand enjoy the program. When Fido arrives for a late evening wizz, you will be the one who gets the satisfaction when you here Fido yelping back to his owners!

Fido will be OK after the initial shock to his nads, so don't you think, or let others make you thinkyour being cruel to animals.

I like the paint ball to the ***** and battery/water test.

Kind of strange, they have not been on the mower since I posted that? So maybe they got in to trouble? It could be I'm not the only neighbor annoyed by hours of listening to a mower?

I would love so much to catch the dog watering any part of the property. This has been a thorn in my underwear for several years now. Mainly cause I've vowed to catch fido, slice off his ***** and feed it to the owner.

I too am an animal lover. Loosing our dog Heidi just a couple weeks ago adds in frustration and other emotions. Cause I do not want to hurt someone else's pet. But them allowing the dog to either roam free or letting it enter our yard to do it's stinky business can bring my blood to a boil.

They are also risking their pet's life. It could be hit by a car.

Sorry to hear about Heidi. It's always tough to lose a pet, they are family.

Five words that should eliminate the problem of their dog coming on your property.

German Shepherd
Rotweiler
Pit Bull

Getting one of them should take care of little fido's problem with territory.

So far, no more waterings. But...........don't wantto count my chickens just yet.

Some really sad news. My middle sister had to put her dog to sleep yesterday. I called her about 4pm today to talk. She said she was in California and they have a law nocell phones while driving. But she was pretty upset which is natural. Her dog developed kidney failure for some unknown reason? Thats how we lostDeb's cat Shado 3 years ago. He as fine one day and the next day he was gone.

Wow. My condolences. I know how hard it is to lose a pet. All you can do is be there to talk about all the good times they had together and lend an ear when she needs to talk.

Sorry to hear that RJ.
I've had cats with kidney/bladder problems but they had signs before (couldn't pee) and were able to be saved.
Was it possible either of them could've gotten into antifreeze? If I'm not mistaken, it causes kidney failure.

Sorry to hear about your sister's dog RJ. How old was he/she?

Also, hope your "watering" problem is solved.

I believe my sister's dog was 2 - 3 years old? I know my sister is pretty upset and not able to talk about loosing her baby. I saw an email she sentmy mother today. It states why didn't the vet catch this sooner since they had seen the dog recently?

I know when Deb's cat Shado developed this he seemed fine till we noticed he wasn't eating his snack every night. That should have been a sign to us but we just thought he didn't like the flavor and wouldn't eat it? Shado was still running around the house, playing with the other cats and acting somewhat normal for him. When he started looking like he'd lost weight is when I told Deb to call the vet. But then it was too late for him.

I did call my oldest sister and asked she call our middle sister and talk with her. Hopefully this helped our middle sister with her loss.
