21000 is a little steep for a 2 year old car with 36000 miles on it. Now with the way the car market is, with all the offers out there, you could almost buy a brand new car for that much. I bet if someone looked hard enough, they could find a new leftover 06 or 07 ss still on the lot for close to your asking price.

I saw a demo model 07 SS at a local Chevy dealer on the weekend. They wanted $25,000. But keep in mind, that's Canadian. Don't know what the mileage is.

Good luck in selling your car.
There doesn't seem to be a lot of people buying Monte's anymore. Don't know why.

alot of people see a Monte Carlo as impractical. It's large, not the greatest of fuel mileage, plus it's such a big car with only 2 doors (a complaint i seem to be the only one to hear).

I would at least get out of the 20s. If it were me I would start at 18 or 19 thousand. I saw two on the internet, one was an 07 with 12000 miles for 18999 and one was an 06 with 20,000 miles for 18,000. They were both nice cars too and both SS.

At first when I saw the price tag the first thig that came to mind was thats to much. But when I looked at the pictures I was a little blown away just how awesome it looks. But I think the $21000 is scaring people away. I bet that at 19 you would get some serious lookers, and maybe list all the aftermarket parts you have put into it to seem better than the others for sale. Good luck
