Hey fellow 5th gen owners i have a question for you. The grey insert at the bottom of the grille. What exactly would you call it and does anyone know where you'd have good luck finding another one as mine is a disaster.

I believe its called a grill insert. Good luck finding one. They all bubble and I dont think you can buy them aftermarket. Time for a Z34 bumper cover.

True. You are talking about the little gray plastic "scrape" guard, right? That's the only thing I can think of that's down there lol

Same here. I took mine off shortly after buying the car. It looks a little rough where it was taped on as the clear on the bumper is pealing, but it looks a hell of a lot better than the bubbly crap that was there before. Sometime in the future I would like to get a z34 bumper cover and paint it to match.
