ok read alittle so the 97 used the older wiring and vac controlled trany, and some aftermarket parts wont work becuase of those facts, i'm just looking for a good dd

you definitly need a 5th gen justin
only forget dealerships, look for one like how i found mine. neglected setting in a driveway. for $400-600. lol.
the GP sounds like a decent buy, as long as it's not a total lemon. but the monte's just so much nicer looking of a car! i've never liked the interiors of those GP's.
