177k on it her uncle worked for chevy dealer, did all the work to it, i'm going to call him n fine out if the what all he has done, i know the trans forsure

ok read alittle so the 97 used the older wiring and vac controlled trany, and some aftermarket parts wont work becuase of those facts, i'm just looking for a good dd

I also think the MAFs are bad in those cars?? I forget all the issues. I'd have to look if you need me to.

you definitly need a 5th gen justin only forget dealerships, look for one like how i found mine. neglected setting in a driveway. for $400-600. lol.

the GP sounds like a decent buy, as long as it's not a total lemon. but the monte's just so much nicer looking of a car! i've never liked the interiors of those GP's.

For a DD and nothing more the GP sounds like a good deal for you. Especially having the 4 doors for the child seat and such.

Any update on the GP??
