GM REALLY NEEDS THIS RIDE TO SUCCEED
The carmaker has been around for over 100 years, but Thursday may have been the most important day in its entire history.

Why this truck is crucial for the car giant

Actually....
We ended up buying it used from a dealer...The guy who owned use to snowbird from michigan to florida.....(Lived in my neighborhood) how ironic!

Apparently he use to pull a 5th wheel with it....It had 56,000 miles on it when we got it...So, I figured pulling my 25 ft pull behind camper wouldnt be a problem...we found out the hardway....

We als only did it because at the time we Had a 99 blazer and a trip planned to vacation in florida...The chevy dealer at the time didnt have anything that we were interested in.....So, we were kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place. when we bought it....(Never again)

I've had 2 318's both were real going runs engines.Still have the durango the engine is the only good thing left in it.My 99 Dakota (Rocket) had a 318 with a Mopar performance R/T cam(not the stock cam in a R/T model truck thats just a stock 5.9 cam)an the Mopar performance ECM from the factory. The first owner ordered it that way.Got 19-20mpg an was just as fast as a mustang of the same year.
They do have a few 318's that were just doggy though
