I have to agree with Mike on that point.
Here in Canada, the 2011 Corvette starts at $67,430 for the base entry model. And ranges all the way up to $143,145 for the optioned out the ZR1 1SD package. In the U.S. the base entry model is $54,045. And the optioned out ZR1 model is $110,300.
For that money there shouldn't be one inch of cheap, crappy looking plastic in that car. If GM wants the Corvette to compete with the european "super" cars (the Lambo's, the Ferrari's, etc...), then they need to raise the quality.
But I suspect GM is trying to make the Corvette compete with everything. Competing directly with the Lambo's and Ferrari's, and the Mustang and Challenger. GM needs to get their sh*t together. If you're going to make the Corvette a high-end super car, then do it right. Quit cheapening the interior and such. If you're going to have it compete with the Mustang and Challenger, then price it similar to the Mustang and Challenger. Stop trying to please everyone with one car.
GM needs to let the Camaro do the job of "American Muscle Car". And go all out with the Corvette. Make the Corvette worthy of truely being in the same category as the Lambo's and Ferrari's.
Just my opinion.
, but I take a mule to test 4 them 4-Sure....What year did GM Chevy put a six cylinder in a Corvette ?
Do you think that future Corvette's will have a Six Cylinder ?
Maybe a twin turbo 3.6 L Direct Injected 500 + HP ?
Will there be fuel that we can afford ?

Well I know where the driver's seat and exhaust pipe are. But not quite sure where the turn signal is. I don't see the Corvette logo anywhere, they must be using camoflage.
Hey, it's a convertible too!
