Two questions on the 800hp Camaro.

Only four piston brakes in the REAR? WHAT?! They must be out to kill you... and with only a 1 year/12,000 miles warranty? Confirmed!

I'll take the Shelby this time

Hi `Brent,
I didn't hear anyone say anything Do you hear voice's `Brent LOL
I'm ConFuZed... Did the room (Thread) fill with funny `Smoke

I think buyers/owners of these expensive exotic Performance rides don't really care about warranties or the price...They buy to be the King of their Road, until someone blows then away with another fast performance home made Hot Rod ~> LOL

To me, they are just dream rides, unless I get Super Lucky & win a Big Lotto Then I'd `be King 4 awhile ~>
Thanks `Brent, I hope I've cleared `up any confusiion, or ConFuZed you more ? ? LOL
Peace/Happiness 2 the reader(s) What ? What smoke ?

The Camaro uses a 6 piston front/4 piston rear set up...the same as the Shelby. Does Shelby offer any type of warranty on the 1000? I see no mention of a warranty on their web site...

And it's crazy. I know safety is not exactly the #1 priority in these particular cars, but damn.

I'll take the Shelby because, well, it's a Shelby. It would be worth more than any Camaro ever would be. This particular one looks better than the camaro imho.

I just don't understand why you would put more brake pistons in the front than in the rear in a rwd vehicle. Perhaps someone can enlighten me.

I think it takes more then just throwing dollars at an engine to make it produce 1100 hp without it blowing sky high. This is a next to impossible feat that almost nobody has done. Drag car engines are rebuilt with practically no mileage on them. Even NASCAR Sprint Cup cars, which produce "only" 850 hp are only good for less then 1000 miles. Most race cars, less then that.

This Shelby is in small company

Whether it's a FWD or RWD vehicle doesn't make a difference. When trying to stop the forward momentum of the vehicle the front brakes do most of the work so they are always bigger. Look at the size of the rotors/calipers on the front of your Monte versus the rear.

Space its a 69 that they only made 69 of so wayy diff than new ones & it takes alot of money to break 1000hp & make it streetable & reliable, itll take just as much if not more than the Shelby to do it
