Default Corvette

The last two Good Corvette's were the 63 Split window. And the 67 Stingray 427/435 tri power model. As far as any other vette. I'd rather have a Monte carlo. Nicer lines & better interior. Nough said !

Heeyyyy... Corvette's had a dark period there in the early 80's, but so did every car just about. I liked the Corvettes when they were redesigned wit the C5 model in like '95, but I'm not too crazy about the newer ones.

I don't know if I can say I'm a real Corvette guy. I love the 60's Corvette's up until the mid 70's... then they were still good looking, just down on power. And of course, it's not a Corvette unless it has a cheap, plastic, crappy interior.... newer ones are better about this.

But I still appreciate and respect the Corvette for what it is. As I said in my first post, name a car that gives you the horsepower, reliablity, and handling for a better price. Are there faster cars? Heck yeah. Are there cars that handle better? Oh yes. But can you get these cars for the price you can get a Corvette? Not by a long shot. As a matter of fact, some high performance sports cars in teh Corvettes class cost twice as much as the Corvette and still aren't as fast or are atleast just a match for its speed, not exceeding it. It proved that America could compete with Europe, it proved we could build a 2 door sports car and make it faster for a better price than England, Germany, or Italy could.

For that, the Corvette gets a nod from me.

Very much looks like a stingray. But Space is right if it were a little longer I'd say they were bring the riviera back as that.

Hmm... does look a lot like the Riviera. Bring it back as a Riviera GN (Grand National) and give it a turbocharged 6 cylinders... 70's styling with that 80's retro power, modern touch.... that might be a nice car to be honest.
