Hey `Chris,
Great find 4 Sure. ThoseRe-badged Aussie-sourced Holden Commodore SS are sweet.
They should put them into NASCAR : ),
along with the Pontiac G8's
Thanks for your find/post.

I think those are a strictly over seas car. I doubt we will see a brand new Lumina SS driving on our streets, unless it was imported.

Someone threw that up a while back.

Isn't that where GM is getting the Zeta platform from?

If the zeta platform is the same platform that the holden commodore is on then yes. The Lumina is just a holden commodore. I have seen those luminas before on the net. Iknow you can get them in the middle east, but I dont know where else they are sold. I think that Lumina is also on the same platform that the G8 sits on. I also thought that the zeta platform is a front wheel drive platform. The lumina is a rear wheel drive car so it probably not the same platform.

Looks interesting with those Euro lights and that front-end, kinda Japanese to me, but the better Japanese type.

The Zeta is a RWD platform.

And then according to Wikipedia, these are the cars that use it:

2006 Holden VE Commodore / 2007 Vauxhall VXR8 / 2007 Chevrolet Lumina / 2008 Pontiac G8
2006 Holden WM Statesman/Caprice / 2007 Chevrolet Caprice / 2008 Daewoo L4X / 2007 Buick Park Avenue
2007 Holden Ute
Future vehicles confirmed to be using this platform:
2009 Chevrolet Camaro

I think Holden is mostly RWD/AWD with only 4-5 vehicles that have FWD.

That makes sense then, for some reason i thought the Zeta platform was a FWD platform.
