Hi Mr.Monte, Yes, the RangeRover is a Big Status Symbol, but so is the Rolls, but I can't afford either...
I'm still amazed that people spend so much Money $ for
$tatus ~> There sure are many RangeRover's/Rolls & expensive rides in Florida...(Not in my garage)

While we initially thought an electrified Phantom would be on order for next year, it looks like the 102 EX will remain an engineering exercise. Meanwhile, an extended-wheelbase Ghost will be in full production starting from the 2012 model year. Mechanically identical to the standard Ghost, the EWB model will feature an additional 6.7 in. of leg room for rear seat passengers. Power continues to come from a 6.6-liter twin-turbo V-12 with 563 bhp and a mountain of torque—575 lb.-ft. at a low 1500 rpm.

I don't really have any problems with Rolls Royce, or Bentley's either. They're usually owned by royalty, world leaders, and multi-millionaires. People who don't need to put on a phoney image of themselves.
But around here, most BMW owners are your typical yuppie (young urban professional) who goes around flashing an image of wealth and success. But in reality he's mortgaged up to his ears, can barely afford the lease payments on the car, and is doing some "creative" accounting at tax time.

Mopar to Show 800-hp V10 Crate Engine and High Output Hemi V8 at SEMA
Plus, upgrade kits galore.
By Joshua Condon Nov 1, 2011 7:19AM
If you're not into drag racing, now may be the time to start a new hobby: At the SEMA show in Las Vegas, Mopar will be displaying its hand-built V10 competition crate engine, with 800 horsepower and 695 lb-ft of torque, built specifically for drag-race competitors.
Of course, for the road-going-upgrade enthusiast, Mopar will also showcase its more powerful High Output crate version of the Gen III 426 Hemi V8, which uses a lightweight aluminum block that cuts 100 pounds from the weight of the cast-iron version and delivers 590 horsepower out of the box.
Other Mopar upgrades to be shown include a bolt-on upgrade kit for the Gen III Dodge Viper that injects an extra 150 horsepower; a Challenger body-in-white for race teams; and the Gen III Hemi front-drive kit, which, as the name suggests, puts the Hemi power through the front wheels.
A closer look at that V10, plus the full press release from Chrysler, after the jump.
