That's how I wound up with a 200 dollar ticket after buying the KIA - the wheel at its "highest point" has my hand blocking essentially everything from 40-100 mph and since the speedo goes higher than the Monte the needles positions weren't what I was used to seeing. So I got popped for 56 in a 35.

LOL, guess you did not play the "my Uncle is a cop" wild card. Wow $200 for 20 over ouch.

Very nice car Mike. Congrats. You deserve it.

I know about the idea of making excuses to go for a drive. I was like that when I first got my Monte. Put a lot of miles on it the first year.

It's great you have a car you enjoy so much Mike. Hope you have many years of fun with it.

It did during my test drive, then I was able to raise the seat high enough and the steering wheel is on a telescopic AND tilt, so I got it positioned perfectly so that it curves around those 2 gauges. It's perfect now.

Also it has the digital readout in the middle and I don't think I ever look at the speedo to the left

Thank you everyone

I guess I like to glance down at my gauges - mostly my tach.

A heads up display is offered on a model. Forget which one.

While waiting to take delivery on our new Expedition in '04 my daughter and I were car browsing - sadly there is no headroom for 6'6" me in a Mustang (happens a lot to me, I see a car I really like only to find I can't fit in it).

The one I test drove did have heads up display and by no means was a deal breaker. The performance of how "slow" the auto trans one felt as I was driving it was the final factor in my decision to purchase my Mustang.

Great looking ride, I was just looking at almost the same car at the local dealer. Contemplating selling the Dale Jr and going to a new Camaro. Trying to find a way to have both, but lack of storage space.

Hey Mike (chibi)... remind me now. I forgot. Your Camaro is a manual correct? Or did you get the automatic to use it as a DD?

Never mind. Just re-read the first post.
