Hmm... if I was President....

First off, I would bring home our troops from ALL over the world. This includes Japan, Korea, Germany, Afghanistan, and Iraq. We would go back to a foreign policy of non-interventionist. Thomas Jefferson said "Commerce with all nations, ally with none." This will be our foreign policy.

I will also never approve an unbalanced budget. Let me make this bold, and some italicis to make it more fun. What the hell, lets under line it. THE BUDGET WILL BE BALANCED. Our nation will be over $10 TRILLION in debt by the time Bush leaves office. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. No one President can eliminate the mistake of over a hundred years of bad budgetting.. but I will take steps to reduce this debt.

We will strike all victimless crimes from law books and pass a Constitutional amendmentto protect them. Drugs will be legal PROVIDING YOU USE THEM IN TEH SAFETY OF YOUROWN HOME. The seat belt law will be gone as the only person being hurt is yourself. Prostitution will be legalized, but only when thewoman consents to beingso (aka, you can't kidnap a woman and make here be a prostitute... and if you're caught with a woman and its proven you know shedoesn't wnat to be there, you're in trouble).

We will cut Federal Spending. The Pentagononce spent over $90 per nail for nails that are just a few cents each at a hardware store. We will "trim the fat" from the government.

We will also pass an amendment concerning gay marriage... not to make itillegal, butto protect it. As much as the idea of gay marriage sickens me, the government has no right to tell a person who they can and cannot love. Our founding fathers would never want a government that would tell someone that they must marry within a certain group.

The borders will be more secure. We will build a fence across our border. It will be 2 seperate fences, both 15' high, with a highway inbetween these two fences for border patrol to drive on.

The FairTax will be passed. Many US businesses have cited a punishing and unfair tax code as their reason for leaving the US. The FairTax will not tax corporations, but only the item when it is sold. All taxes come down to the consumer anyway. Corporate Taxes will do one of 3 things:

1: The price will be passed along to the consumer
2: The quality of the product will go down
3: The shareholders take a hit

1 & 2 are the most likely ones to happen as companys want to keep their shareholders happy. Let's face it. They are greedy. They aren't going to take a dent in their wallets. But thats enough on the FairTax for now.

My cabinet will be filled with people of all political philosophys.There will be liberals, conservatives, populists and libertarians in my cabinet.Although I am still most likely to go with the libertarians, there will atleast be all views represented in the cabinet.

All unnecessary government jobs.. cut. Includes the IRS when we pass the FairTax. There are governmetn employees who just wander around an office all day. They collect a paycheck every month. We will minimize government.

I will have a dog named Veto... as a joke/threat to Congress.

Although in order to pay off the National Debt, we probably won't be able to lower taxes... THERE WILL BE NO INCREASE IN TAXES.

But thats enough rambling for now... and just dreams after all. I feel God is leading me to ministry right now. If at some point I feel lead to Politics, I'll begin worrying about all of this then.
