I've been dreading this, but I'm going to give it a try. I've been a gearhead since the day I turned 16, which was 39 years ago. I'll be the first to admit that I buy, sell and trade way too often...usually losing money in the process. But, the wife and I never had kids, so I really don't have anything else to blow my extra money on. I'll forget some, but here goes:

1964 Impala SS
1964 Corvair 2-dr.
1967 Chevelle SS396
1970 340 Cuda
1956 Crown Victoria 4-dr.
1964 VW Karman Ghia
1966 Olds Delta 88 2-dr.
1973 340 Duster
1973 Thunderbird, black/black (swore I'd never have another black car after this one).
1968 Firebird
1973 Pinto Squire Wagon [:'(]
1969 GTX
197? MG Midget
198? Chevette 2-dr.[:'(]
1970 VW Beetle
1973 Cuda (318 3-speed)
1975 VW Type 2 (bus)
1982 VW diesel pickup
198? Honda Civic SI
199? HondaDel Sol S
1985 VW GTI
198? Charger [:'(]
1972 Imperial
1968 Camaro SS396
1983 Escort 2-dr. [:'(]
1966 Mustang 289
198? GMC Conversion Van
1984 Toyota Van
1990 Toyota Pickup 4X4
1992 Honda CRX
1995 Ranger Pickup 4X2
1977 Riviera
1994 Mitsubishi Expo
1992 Plymouth Laser AWD Turbo
1994 Thunderbird V-8
1994 Suzuki Sidekick 4X4
1997 Aurora
1997 Lincoln Mark VIII
2002 PT Cruiser Limited
2002 Mustang GT
2006 VW Beetle TDI
2006 Monte Carlo SS

I'm counting 42, but I'm sure there are a few I've forgotten -I think this is pretty close. Might have a few of the years wrong, as well. Before I bought my 06 SS, my wife (of 31-years) made me swear by all that is holy that I would keep it for at least 3-years. Honestly, I can't say that I blame her. Also, I can't think of a better car to bestuck with forthat length of time.

WoW `Gale,
Are you sure you were a policeman, & not the owner of a
used car lot ?
You could write a book on buying, & selling.
You've had some super cars.
Besides your Monte Carlo SS, which one do you wish
you still had ?
Thanks for sharing your auto memories with the forum.
Did you take pictures of each car ?
I would choose the 68 Camaro with a 396.
(When a member post a car I don't know, I do a search
to find out what it looks like, & what powered it...I'm learning
a lot about cars : )
Thanks again, for posting.

I might have some 35's of the more interesting cars, but I'd have to dig deep to find them. Of all the cars I've owned, I think the fastest was the 340 Cuda. The one I wish I still had was my Mark VIII, I must admit.Actually,I wish Istill had all the old muscle cars, of course, but back in the early 70's you could hardly give them away.In those days,no onehad a clue they'd be worth what they are today.

I could write a book, but I'd have to call it "How to lose moneybuying cars".

To all the Member's that posted their vehicles....Thanks
For many it must have been a trip down auto memory lane : )
A lot of member's sure have had a lot of different cars, and many
that I would love to drive/own : )
I think a car does say a lot about it's owner.
Member Gale, You had a awesome looking Lincoln.
That 32 Valve V-8 was powerful.
I use to wash one just like the one you had : )
I got to drive it to go fill up the tank, & get it serviced.
It had button's for everything : ) I liked it, and understand why
you must miss yours. Thanks for posting/sharing : )
