Ouch i had no idea of any of these issue back when I bought my car, In high school my senior year I wrecked my 01 sunfire gt with 75k on it and insurance gave me a check for $5,000 for it. So I didnt want to spend it all because I had no job at the time so I bought a 97 Sebring with 136k on it for $3,000 horrible deal after 7 months the tranny was starting to go. By then I had got a check for child support back payments for $10,300 and I had always wanted a grand am GT so I parked the Sebring and bought it in 2009. When I bought it i did it stupidly. I went into the dealer and said How much for the 02 Eclipse and how much for the 03 GrandAm GT, and whats the miles. They wanted $9,200 for the Eclipse with 99k, and they wanted $8,000 for the 03 GT with 75k. So I didnt even test drive it and paid for it ont he spot got it for a total of $8,500 after tax and etc. They called me the day i was to pick it up and said hey we replaced the ac fans and the other couple of things you found wrong with it for no charge and its ready to pick up. I scrtached my head on that one cuz i never even drove it but hey i sold it after racking up 25k more and got my camaro and the only problem i ever had was rebuilding it form wrecking it lol

Probably a red 95 z28

I just bought the monte for the fwd for practicality and its also got some pep. But honestly I dont drive on many hills so I dont think it would make a difference. I'd sell the monte and try to find a z28 but I fell in love with the monte haha

I bet you do miss that GTO

well i've gone from a 96 to a 02 to my 06 monte so it's never really been an issue, but the closest i've ever come was when i was looking for my 02. I almost got this . . .

Ends up that jess had a cougar and i ended up with one anyways. Getting the monte instead of a cougar turned out to be about the best decision i could have made. . . . jess' cougar is a piece of crap lol
