Space, it was automatic.

Kernie, thanks for sharing your story with us. I'm currently working in the casino industry. Were you working in the technical field while you were in the casino?

I worked in the MIS or IT department. I knew enough about the casino system to do end user support, but I never got into the queries/points/comp stuff beyond just asking. That's where I get my 'jack-of-all-trades' moniker. I mainly supported email/file sharing/workstations and networking, but everything else got dumped on me from ATM support to new video signage. The exposure to different technologies was what made it fun and especially since casino's want the bling with minimal budget. It was fulfilling, but the company I worked for had went from a smaller riverboat company to trying to compete with Harah's and Winn so they got very top heavy and mismanaged. They eliminated my position in an effort to centralize support at corporate but it failed miserably (I'm happy to report...) But, once again, getting released from there landed me the job I have now and I love it even more and it's where I'd been wanting to go anyhow. So I'm a believer in things happen for a reason. I can't say weather its luck, fate, or divine intervention, but I'm thankful for whichever power allows me such fortunes in life.

What area do you work in? I probably read it somewhere, but I can't recall.

I'm Zach. I am 23. I live in Madrid, IA where have lived my whole life. I work at my Detail Shop that my dad started 26 years ago. I went to college for ITNA ( network Administration for Microsoft) and couldn't find a job out of college right way so I decided to do what I am good at, detail cars. I have a girlfriend of 4 1/2 years and what we call our kid, Bella the American Pitbull Terrier puppy dog .

I have owned 3 cars so far - 91 Lumina 03 Monte LS and my current 07 Monte SS. I am currently trying to find a cheap winter beater for this year.

As for hobbies, I like to paintball when i get the time, I got into cycling this year and currently have 900mi on my bike since March, occasional Xbox Live never hurts , and of course i am intested in anything that involves cars.

P.S. This website gave me the Monte Mod Bug.

Well it seems I'm terribly late.

My name is Ally, I'm 19, and I live in Marietta, GA, but I'm originally from Minnesota. I'm in college and broke because of it :P It will be well worth it for sure. I'm a sophomore in college, doing my best to major in Arabic and learn a couple other languages as well (German, French, Spanish, perhaps Chinese). When I graduate I'm going in to the Air Force, ideally through OTS, if not, enlisted. I met my boyfriend (also Air Force; pilot when he commissions in 2 years) in ROTC, so military is a large part in life for me. I work at Pep Boys Auto, I just deliver auto parts for $8 an hour and I like it, I get to see SO many cool cars and learn a lot. My only other hobbies revolve around cars: MCF, cleaning/messing with/changing the look of my car, and working on car audio with the BF (both our cars' systems are everchanging so we do that often), and competing in audio competitions.

Hello everyone, I'm Ally and I'm a certified, hardcore, bona-fide car geek.
