I'd love to say Dale Jr. will win his first race of the year.
But it's hard to win a race when you're determined to wreck every car you get into. Just to spite your step mother.

 

he won't win this one.. but I got half a mind he'll win atleast one race in Speedweeks at Daytona next year.

Anyone tried to get a body kit to make our cars look like the NASCAR versions?

 

I saw a brief story on either this past weekend's Spike tv Powerblock or Speed Channel's weekend block of shows. This guy builds street legal NASCAR replicas. Lookslike a Nascar inside and out. Except for the necessary stuff to make the car street legal, and some more comfortable bucket seats, carpeting, and hidden stereo and A/C. Also the doors work too.It has the roll bars, the Nascarlooking dash, even the removable steering wheel.
He builds these from the ground up, and will paint up the exterior to match your favorite driver's racecar.
Cost is over $100,000. If I find a link to the story, I'll post it.

A guy on 2000 MC has dressed his Monte up to look pretty much like a street legal Nascar. Right down to the roof rails.

[/align][align=center]Jimmie Johnson has become a fixture in Victory Lane, picking up his 4th win in a row, his first at Phoenix, 10th of the season capping off a full month of winning. Jimmie now leads his teammate and second in points Jeff Gordon by 86, and needs to finish 18th or better next week at Homestead / Miami to claim back to back Championships. 1998 was the last time a driver won 4 races in a row, that driver of course was Jeff Gordon.

OTHER STORIES ON THE DAY

-Jeff Gordon finished 10th, after fighting off a bad handling race car, and some contact with Kevin Harvick resulting in a tire rub.

-Carl Edwards sat on the pole, but had engine problems after leading the first 87 laps.
-Dale Earnhardt Jr. spun his #8 machine on his own, wrecking hard hitting the inside wall. Jr. is okay.
