LaFerrari XX Will Have A Ridiculous Amount of Power

Throughout the last decade, Ferrari has created a few special track only editions of some of the its fastest cars. Beginning with the Enzo FXX and ending with the 599XX, these cars defy most laws of physic and many wallets. Additionally, when Ferrari starts to talk about building more race cars, it’s best everyone pays attention.
Enter the next iteration of the XX Corsa Clienti Program, the LaFerrari XX. According to TopGear, which got the exclusive on the upcoming race car, the next XX will debut at the end of this year’s XX race season in Abu Dhabi and will eclipse everything that has preceded it.

While the new LaFerrari XX was rumored to use an F1 derived turbo V6, the magazine’s insider states that the hybrid V12 power plant currently in use will stay in place. The engine will see a significant boost in overall horsepower, somewhere to the tune of 1050. That means an extra 87 horsepower, which may not sound all that much, but this car now makes almost twice as much horsepower as a modern Formula 1 car.
In addition to the car’s horsepower boost, the LaFerrari XX will also receive a host full of track preparations including; further weight savings, full roll cage, race bucket seats and even better aerodynamics than it has now.

Even though this new Ferrari is being turned into the ultimate race weapon, we will never see the LaFerrari XX scraping or bumping into anything other than another LaFerrari XX. Due to the nature of international racing regulations, neither the LaFerrari XX nor the upcoming McLaren P1 GTR’s are legal for any racing series on the planet which almost seems to be a waste of these ridiculously awesome race cars.
However, if you are one of the lucky few chosen to purchase one , you will be able to run in full race conditions in any of the XX program’s eight seasonal races. After you pony up the couple million dollars it’s going to take to purchase one, that is.
