Whats up, fellow montes?
Hey just found this site and think it's a great idea to have a forum. I own a 2003 monte carlo ls 3.4l v6, 180 hp. I am well aware it isn't the fastest thing out there, but if there's one thing i've learned, no matter what you drive, there's someone out there faster and more well-equipped than you. Since I'm not riding in an SS, I'm looking to (1) add on an air intake for more HP and increase the MPG if but by just a little. (2) find the right muffler for more outflow from the exhaust for better performance and better sound, and learn how to install them, (3) be able to learn more about regular maintenance of montes, and (4) talk to people who care about their Monte Carlos as much as I care about mine.
My first car was a 1992 Buick Regal 3.8l v6. I loved that car, that was my regular all day travel and cruise car. My second car was a 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse 2.0l i4 GS. That car had a HUGE muffler on it and would roar. Bought it from a friend one week and two weeks later the engine had overheating problems and went right back to my buick. Needless to say, I lost a friend over that car and he's going to get a black eye next time I see him.
But anyways I love my new blue monte and she's gonna be with me for a while. pics will be coming soon when i find that digital camera!

welcome to the forum, you came to the right place for the information you want, most of the members have done similar mods to their late model montes, and know their stuff very well
