What will I need to do?
I would just look for the transmission.
Somehow I just don't feel right telling people to look for "trannies".
Are you referring to technical service bulletins?
My quick search shows recalls for seat belts, air bags, fuel system, steering, and engine cooling. But I just did a search on the Recalls.gov website. Where did you do your search?
You had to have a problem with the tranny. Then the dealership calls the factory, that's why it's a "silent recall". Not released to public.
****ed up huh,
I know this cuz I went to the dealership where I bought my car. Telling them about this chugging. A very slight change in the rpm when you put a load on the motor. Which my first thought was injectors. This mechanic told me about the silent recall.
You had to have a problem with the tranny plus it had to be under 60,000 miles.
