although you only have 50,000 miles on, your most likely going to need to replace your gaskets! those montes are very well know for intake gasket issues.. for exhaust needs check out this members post..

As far as engine needs I don't need so many tips in that area. As I said my dad's a mechanic so he can cover all of that. I'm just looking for advice on audio and cosmetic features

audio, id say go with kickers. you can get em cheap and theyll blow ur doors off. find a nice cd/mp3 player and slap it in. and upgrade the components to either pioneer or kickers. once you complete that you will have yourself a rolling auditorium

well ide say first put an electric turbo, then a perfomance module from ebay or somewhere, maybe some 30" rims, throw some gumball machine stickers all over it, definatly put an exhaust canister on it, then to top it off raise it about 10"... then you should be set to roll..........

if you havent guessed by now im joking and you should do none of these things.
but yeah save up for a while and make it real nice, only 50k you should be pretty set.

our moderator matt (MRL390) did a nice write up with lots of pics on the install of his sound system in his '97 Z34, which can be found over in the 5th gen "how to" section of this forum. he's put up a bunch of other good tech articles over there too, all with great pics
