Default What to do with a '97 LS

Well I'm 16 and for my first car I bought a '97 Monte Carlo LS. I need some suggestions on what to do with it. Doesn't matter what it is just throw out ideas of what you'd do or have done for that matter. Just remember I'm on a budget yet I do work so keep it mid priced but don't let that stop the suggestions.

I know how you feel... for a small job budget, I suggest visual. Avoid anything thats stick on. What color is it, that can really help.

I suggest creating a fund for your car, put as much money as you can in this fund for about a year.

Then do a full gasket job on the engine

It's a Maroon 3.1 Liter with only 50k miles on it. As far as any engine problems I havnt found any besides a broken water pump which isnt a big deal.

welcome to the forum.... got any pics of the new ride?

feel free to check out my cardomain ( the link is in my signature) and my photoalbum for ideas. ive kept mine mostly stock with a few small, cheap visual mods, like painting the bowties on the centercaps red, the trunk bowtie red, changing the "LS" badge to an "RS", painting the rear drums & suspention black, ventshades, and a bowtie 3rd brakelight cover i made out of cardbord painted black. all those ran me mabe $10-$12 for paint, and like $45 for the ventshades, and it sets my car apart nicely.

Ill have pics up in a bit. It's out at my dads at the moment hes a mechanic so he's fixing anything that needs to be fixed. My budget right now is anywhere from 500-700 dollars. Before I do any exterior work I want to do audio any suggestions? Oh and as far as new exhaust yes or no?
