Default traction

Hey im new to the hole monte thing and im wondering if anyone here had any expreince with a 1970. I know the front end is going to be a lot heavier than the back, is there any way i cant get better traction for my rear tires?

Need a bit more info on the car, is it a posi , whats the gear ratio and what motor do you plan on running in her?
