Unhappy speedometer Help for a new member??
[I] Hello all. I have a 1988 monte carlo. i recently put a 200-r transmission in it, and everything is fine except for the speedometer. my tranny has an electric plug (newer) but my original part is the manual cable. how can i get my speedo to work with the new tranny- (maybe a new speedo sensor), before i have to get a digital dash?? part name for conversion. I really need the help l[ Thamks./I]

Try hitting up a transmission shop in your area, they may have an answer or part that will work with your set up.
